Feature Requests

I found your product because I am tired of Apple's tiered iCloud storage fees. Apple Photos is ok but the promise for Picular is something I want to be part of. If this feature does not break main code and user can select either to use the 1TB provided or choose another storage location; I would completely switch over to Picular. In my use case I have a huge NAS server where I can store all pictures. All I need is a software to read/Organize the photos. The use scenario would look like this. On my Mac I open Picular, choose my NAS drive as default location. Picular creates a file database and stores on my NAS in same folder as pictures. Then on my other devices say iPhone I download Picular; then it ask me to import library, then I choose my NAS/Cloud drive folder and Picular detects the database file and imports my settings and photo albums. Maybe this would require a huge change in code but I figured I'd submit a feature request in case I may not be the only one. Great work and keep it up!

Be able to select multiple photos and archive them all at once.

I want to be able to change the sorting so that the most recently taken photos appear first.

I'd like to use Picular to better process all my photo, but to start with I need to import my existing library (moving over from iPhoto). Currently when I copy over images one folder at a time from the 'original' folder (via 'Show Package Contents') I have to 'review / archive' every photo imported. I like this feature for managing from here onwards, but can't see how I can skip having to review all the existing photos (+50k).

Edit and handle previously created people. Change names, display photo, remove photos connected to the person etc..

Like Apple/Google, add the function to share one or a few photos by SMS or E-mail. Also, for sharing one photo at a time, it would be good if this function were accessible directly from the lightbox view.

Would like to be able to archive photos later that I've already "organized" if I change my mind or no longer need them. Example: by right clicking, send to archive

I can't always remember a name. Sometimes I cannot tell who someone is (e.g. the first photo for me to categorise is a baby photo of one of my twin daughters) Need to be able to skip that person til later.

View archived photos and the possibility to destroy them totally if needed.

show a slider or button to change the size of the thumbnails, either a shortcut holding a keyboard button and scrolling with mouse or change thumbnail sizes directly in library without needing to click options first.
